VITEEE 2017 Eligibility Criteria


VITEEE eligibility criteria enlist all the requirement conditions which must be satisfied by the candidates so as to be able to appear for the examination. The eligibility criterion includes requirements related to the academic requirements, age, nationality, of the candidates.
A candidate, who is found ineligible, will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

  • B.Tech Degree-
  • The applicant must be a resident/ non-resident Indian national. PIO and OCI holders are allowed to apply as well.
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 conducted by higher secondary board which is recognized.
  • Candidate must have passed intermediate or two-year pre-university examination conducted by the state board.
  • Candidate must have passed high school certificate examination of Cambridge University or International Baccalaureate Diploma, Geneva.
  • Candidate must have passed general certificate education examination at the advanced level.
  • NIOS candidates are allowed to appear for VITEEE 2017 as per the norms of VIT University.
  • Candidates should have a score of 60% aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology in 10+2.
  • Candidates should have a score of 50% aggregate in physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology in 10+2 for the following categories-
  • Belonging to SC/ST.
  • Candidates who belong to Jammu and Kashmir and the north-eastern states.
  • Candidates who have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics are eligible for B.Tech programs.
  • Candidates who have studied physics, chemistry and biology are eligible for bio-technology programs.
  • Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1995 are eligible to apply for VITEEE 2017. The date recorded in the date of birth certificate of class 10th will be considered authentic.

  • Bachelor of Architecture-
  • Candidates who have studied regular, full time and formal education are allowed to apply.
  • Must have scored 70% in 10+2 of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics.
  • Candidate must have scored a minimum of 40% marks in All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture.
  • Candidate whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July, 1995 are eligible to apply. The date recorded in the date of birth certificate of class 10th will be considered authentic.

  • UG SCIENCE PROGRAM (BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Sc Multimedia and Animation)
  • Candidates who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are allowed to eligible for the examination.
  • Candidates who have scored 70% and above in 10+2 are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have scored 60% in 10+2 for the following categories-
  • Candidates belonging to SC/ST.
  • Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir and north-eastern states.

  • FIVE YEAR INTEGRATED PROGRAM (M.Sc, M.Tech)
  • Candidates who have studied in regular, full time and formal education are allowed to eligible for the examination.
  • Candidates whose date of birth falls on or after 1st July 1997 are eligible to apply.
  • Candidates should have secured 70% and above in 10+2 are eligible to apply.
